We’re seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to lead and manage the delivery of WCVA’s Wales-wide volunteering support service.
Following the launch of the New Approach to Volunteering, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the volunteering service is refreshed and fully aligned to the New Approach.

£40,517 rising to £41,733 per annum
Fixed term; until 31 March 2028
WCVA provides a contribution of 9% of your annual salary to its approved pension scheme.
Base and flexibility: At WCVA, we embrace hybrid and flexible working. With staff working flexibly across Wales, you’ll have the option to work remotely (including from home) or at our office hubs located in Aberystwyth and Cardiff, and across North Wales hiring small community spaces to bring staff together. There are no mandated office days beyond key meetings and specific team requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The postholder will bridge the gap between strategic vision and sector impact, leading the delivery of approaches and resources that enable diverse, inclusive, and sustainable volunteering. By fostering high-level stakeholder relationships and utilising robust evaluation, the postholder will ensure WCVA’s volunteering offer is evidence-led, resilient, and high-quality.
SOME OF YOUR MAIN DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
- Building and maintain relationships and networks with internal teams
- Lead the delivery and ongoing evolution of WCVA’s volunteering information, advice, guidance, and training in line with the New Approach to Volunteering and WCVA’s strategy.
- Act as WCVA’s operational lead for volunteering and primary point of contact for volunteering in Wales.
