DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT OFFICER

35 hours per week (1 year fixed- term)

£22,628 increasing to £24,107 pro rata per annum

WCVA will contribute 9% of the annual salary into its approved pension scheme.

Base:

Flexible – We have office hubs in Abergele, Aberystwyth and Cardiff that staff can utilise. We are a pan Wales organisation which means there will be a requirement to attend some specific staff events and work engagements as required.

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional to join the WCVA team and develop experience working on multi-media campaigns for a wide variety of audiences.

As part of WCVA’s communications team you will work with the wider WCVA team, developing engaging communications to support and promote the voluntary sector in Wales.

Some of your main duties will include;

  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating communications for a variety of platforms including our website, social media channels and e-newsletters.
  • Working with different internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities to create engaging content that promotes the work of the voluntary sector.
  • Contributing to the planning of communications and marketing to ensure that our voice is consistent in both Welsh and English.

You will also work closely with other WCVA teams and external partners and get to see all the different and exciting projects that we work on as an organisation.
