Women holding an award after winning in the Welsh Charity Awards

Welsh Charity Awards 2023 – Finalists announced

Published : 02/08/23 | Categories: Information & support | News |

The Welsh Charity Awards recognise the positive impact and outstanding contributions made by charities, community organisations, not-for-profits, and volunteers across Wales.

BACKGROUND

The Welsh Charity Awards highlight the beneficial impact that charities, as well as volunteers and voluntary organisations in a variety of communities across Wales have had on people’s lives.

The aim is to highlight and spread awareness of the positive difference we can make to each other’s lives by volunteering and to show appreciation to the incredible work volunteers and voluntary organisations do.

There are eight categories in this year’s Welsh Charity Awards, as listed below.

NEXT STEPS

A huge thank you to everyone who nominated and got involved this year. We had an incredible number of high-quality nominations, and our independent judging panel had an extremely tough job!

All nominated volunteers and organisations have now been contacted to let them know whether they’ve been shortlisted. Organisations that have been shortlisted will be invited to a glamorous awards event where the winners will be announced. The award ceremony will be held in Cardiff on 11 October 2023.
