Welsh Charities Week – showcase your impact

Published : 10/11/22 | Categories: News |

Welsh Charities Week is back, a week all about recognising the work of charities, social enterprises, voluntary organisations and community and volunteer groups across Wales.

HELP HIGHLIGHT THE WORK OF CHARITIES IN WALES

Taking place 21-25 November 2022, Welsh Charities Week is your chance to make some noise about the difference your charitable organisation makes.

HOW YOUR ORGANISATION CAN GET INVOLVED

There are several ways you can get involved in #WelshCharitiesWeek:

  1. Share a short video – Post a video about your work on social media and remember to use #WelshCharitiesWeek. There’s a simple guide on how to create your video on the Welsh Charities Week website.
  2. Highlight your staff or volunteers – Tell the world about a staff member, volunteer or team and the difference they make, post your message and any photos you might have on social media using #WelshCharitiesWeek (please make sure you have the permission of everyone featured).
  3. Share the campaign pack – Send the Welsh Charities Week campaign pack to your friends, supporters and partners and ask them to support your work by getting involved in Welsh Charities Week. The pack has plenty of ideas on how to take part and support Welsh charities.

HOW THE PUBLIC CAN GET INVOLVED

Welsh Charities Week is an opportunity to get more people involved in the amazing work of charities, voluntary organisations, community groups and volunteers across Wales.

Charities are not only a lifeline for the most vulnerable they are there for people in the good times and the bad, taking seemingly small steps that add up to a big difference.

We’re calling on people to #MakeABiggerDifferenceTogether during Welsh Charities Week by volunteering, donating or giving a shout out to their favourite charity or voluntary group!

Individuals can visit the Welsh Charities Week website for more information on how to get involved.
