Trustees’ Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference.
Trustees Week 2022 is taking place from 7 – 11 November
WCVA would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to all the people who volunteer as trustees and make an enormous contribution to charities across Wales. We really couldn’t do it without you!
AN EXCITING PROGRAMME
Trustees Week is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate and thank your trustees for the work that they do. Being a trustee involves taking on significant responsibilities and time commitments and the role is almost always unpaid.
WCVA is hosting an exciting programme of events for trustees.
On Monday 7 November we’ll be kicking off the week with an event for trustees on developing digital services.
Our main event will take place on Wednesday 9 November with a panel of speakers on the topic of how trustees can make a difference in these constantly changing times.
Finally, on Thursday 10 November, we have a special Trustees’ Week edition of our popular Charity Governance Update webinar.
What are you going to do for Trustees Week?
Here are some ideas for getting involved:
- Take the time to thank trustees for their contribution
- Use the hashtag #TrusteesWeek to join the discussion on social media
- Attend one of the local or national events that will be happening during the week
- Take the opportunity to advertise any trustee vacancies you may have
