It’s almost time for WCVA members to vote for their top four nominees to join WCVA’s board of trustees.
Thank you to everyone who nominated in this year’s election to join WCVA’s Board of Trustees. We are delighted to announce that we received nine nominations for the four vacant places available on the board.
A ballot of our members will now take place and will open on 27 October 2025, closing on 7 November 2025. Members will be emailed with their unique link to our online voting system and will also include a formal invitation to attend our Annual General Meeting.
The results of the ballot will be presented to our members for approval at WCVA’s AGM taking place online on 20 November 2025.
OUR FOCUS ON DIVERSITY
At WCVA we’ve been working with our members and partners to think about what we can all do to shape a positive future for Wales. We think a diverse voluntary sector is key for creating a better future for Wales, and we need a diverse board to help lead the change we want to see.
We’re focussed on enabling voluntary organisations in Wales to be more diverse, reflecting the communities they serve.
We’re also committed to lead by example and work to ensure WCVA is more diverse. We are committed to being as inclusive as possible and we want as many different voices as possible on our board.
THE NOMINEES
We asked the nominees ‘Why should WCVA members vote for me to be a trustee?’ you can view their responses below:
