Booking terms and conditions, course requirements, cancellation policy and privacy notice

Booking

Joining instructions will be sent prior to the training course/webinar confirming the date, start/finish times, venue and directions.

Please contact us training@wcva.cymru or 0300 111 0124 if you have not received the joining instructions at least 1 week prior to the training course/webinar.

Fees

Delegate fees contribute towards the costs of delivering the course including, administration, the venue, trainer expenses and materials provided by WCVA.

For accredited courses, fees also include lunch on all course dates.  There is an additional fee per learner for those who register to complete the assessment process.

Course requirements

To ensure you have the best experience on our courses we ask the following of you;

  • Commit to attend the full duration of the training
  • Test your access to Zoom
  • Training will commence promptly, please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time, as late arrivals may not admitted
  • Our courses are interactive and engaging and we request where possible for online courses, that all learners have camera’s on and participate via microphone and chat facilities
  • Let us know upon booking if you have any specific requirements ie BSL interpreters
  • Joining instructions and resources will be blind copied from bookings@wcva.cymru, please check your Junk Email folder if you have not received them a week prior (any problems let us know)
  • If you are unable to attend please email training@wcva.cymru (see our cancellation policy)

Cancellation policy

General

  • Cancellations or postponement can only be accepted in writing
  • Should WCVA cancel a training course a full refund will be made
  • Should delegates cancel or postpone the following charges apply:
    • 22 days or more prior to the event – no fee
    • 15-21 days prior to the event – 50 per cent of course fee
    • 14 days or less (or failure to attend) – 100 per cent of course fee

By booking onto a WCVA training course you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.

Using your personal information

Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) is a Data Controller, registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (The ICO) under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), tailored by the Data Protection Act 2018.  We take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to administer this training course/webinar and provide the products and/or services you have requested from us.

At WCVA we store your contact details in our Customer Management Relationship (CRM) database and we use Luma as our booking system.  Please see WCVA’s privacy notice to find out how your information will be used, who can access it, the legal bases on which your information is held and your rights in relation to this information. Please also note that for the purpose of enabling organisations to network, your name and the organisation you are representing will be made available to co-delegates and the trainer for this training course or event.
