This session explores a range of digital tools designed to streamline work processes and help you work more efficiently. Through hands on demonstrations, we’ll take a look at how these tools work and share tips and ideas for integrating them into your day to day work, helping you save time.
Content
This training session will cover:
- Understanding your workflow and how digital processes fit in.
- How digital tools can streamline tasks improving efficiency and collaboration.
- A practical introduction to key features and functionalities of popular digital tools and how you can use them in your workplace.
Tools used in this session include:
Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Planner & ToDo, Power Automate, and others.
Learning outcomes
After attending this session you will:
- Have a better understanding of what digital tools you can use for streamlining some common work processes.
- Have had an opportunity to test out some of these tools.
- Have a number of solutions to explore in your own workplace.
Who the course is for?
This course is for voluntary sector staff or volunteers who are interested in learning how different digital tools can support their work. This course is most suitable for people who:
- Use Microsoft 365 in their workplace.
- Use digital tools in their day to day work – like email, virtual meetings and office software.
- Interested in exploring and learning about digital tools and technologies
- Have some experience of work-related processes, even at a basic level.
Some questions you might be asking are:
- Is there a faster way to do administrative tasks?
- How can my team complete tasks together better?
- Are there ways we can automate routine tasks?

About the trainer
This training will be delivered by Big Learning Company, who have 15 years of experience developing and delivering digital learning programmes across all sectors in Wales.

What we ask of you:
- Attend the full duration of the training.
- Test your Zoom access before attending.
- Arrive 5-10 minutes early – late arrivals may not be admitted.
- Keep your camera on and participate via microphone/chat where possible.
- Let us know at the time of booking if you have any access requirements (e.g. BSL interpreter).
- Enable notifications from LUMA to receive joining instructions and resources.
