A review of safeguarding learning and practice over the past year and a look ahead – in hope!
The past year with the COVID-19 crisis has raised multiple safeguarding issues for voluntary organisations, from how to adapt services to meet the needs of people who may be at risk and how to keep staff, beneficiaries and volunteers safe in this situation. Never has the phrase “Safeguarding is everyone’s business” been more relevant.
The third in our autumn series of webinars will be a brief review of safeguarding learning and practice from the past year and consider how we might deliver safeguarding in 2021.
Good and appropriate safeguarding provides public reassurance about your organisation and contributes to the positive reputation of the voluntary sector in general.
The webinar will cover:
- How have we altered our safeguarding practice to respond to the circumstances of 2020?
- What have we learnt?
- How might this signpost us in our safeguarding practice for 2021?
Who the session is for
This webinar will be suitable for all those staff, volunteers and trustees who have responsibility for safeguarding in their organisations.
