24 February & 03, 10, 17 and 24 March 2021 – 2pm to 3pm
Delivered through the medium of English
Aim
To help you identify which kinds of trustees would support the development of your charity and how to recruit them.
Content
Recruiting new trustees is one of the most important decisions that a charity can make. The COVID-19 crisis has demonstrated the importance of having a diverse board with the right skills, knowledge and experience to lead your charity through challenging times.
Join trustee recruitment charity, Getting on Board, and a small group of other charities, to work out who you need on your board, write an advert which will attract the trustees you need, learn where to advertise, plan your shortlisting and interviewing process and work out how you will induct trustees so you can benefit from their input as soon as possible after appointment.
You will work on your own trustee recruitment materials during the masterclasses, so this is an excellent investment of time for any charity planning to recruit trustees in the short to medium term.
Learning Outcomes
By attending the course, you will know how to:
- Work out who you need on your board
- Write a compelling trustee advert and information pack
- Find your new trustees
- Shortlist and interview trustees
- Ensure your new trustees get off to a flying start
Who the course is for
