Aim
This session explores how you can use digital tools to support teamwork in your organisation. Through hands-on demonstrations, we will explore how these tools can improve communication and collaboration, enabling teams to stay connected and work efficiently in hybrid workplaces.
Content
This training session will cover:
- Fundamentals of digital communication and collaboration.
- Tips for building and maintaining effective teams online.
- Key features and functionalities of popular communication and collaboration tools.
Tools used in this session include:
Microsoft Teams, Padlet, Sway and others.
Learning outcomes
After attending this session you will:
- Understand the key principles of effective digital communication and collaboration.
- Have explored a range of tools to support online teamwork.
- Leave with actionable tips and resources to support you with digital teamworking in your organisation.
Who the course is for?
This course is for voluntary sector staff or volunteers who are interested in learning more about how different digital tools can support their work. This course is most suitable for people who:
- Use Microsoft 365 in their workplace.
- Use digital tools in their day to day work – like email, virtual meetings and office software.
- Would like to improve their digital communication and/or collaboration.
- Interested in exploring and learning about digital tools and technologies.
Some questions you might be asking are:
- How can we communicate better internally?
- What tools can help me and my colleagues work on projects together?
- How do we work collaboratively as a hybrid/remote team?

About the trainer
This training will be delivered by Big Learning Company, who have 15 years of experience developing and delivering digital learning programmes across all sectors in Wales.

- Test your access to Teams
- Training will commence promptly, please arrive ten minutes prior to the start time, as late arrivals may not admitted
- Our courses are interactive and engaging and we request where possible, that all learners have camera’s on and participate via microphone and chat facilities
- Let us know upon booking if you have any specific requirements ie BSL interpreters
- Joining instructions and resources will be sent through LUMA our online booking app, please enable notifications from LUMA to be kept up to date
