WCVA invites you to attend a focus group and have your say on the role of the voluntary sector in health and social care in Wales.
Richard Newton Consulting is partnering with WCVA and the Bevan Commission on a paper to be published in Spring 2023 which explores the values and value of the voluntary sector to health and social care in Wales.
This is an important project, part of a wider multi-year piece of work, which seeks to effectively mobilise relationships, volunteering and support across the health and care system to address priority challenges and maximise the contribution of voluntary organisations and volunteers towards health and care outcomes.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR WORKING TOGETHER
Given the pressures on the health and social care sector this is a priority project for WCVA, supported by Welsh Government as part of the Third Sector Infrastructure for Health and Social Care project.
The final paper will make recommendations in respect of the voluntary sector’s role in health and social care in Wales, its USP in this area, and the actions that can be made to maximise its potential.
