Tell us your thoughts

Social research company Research Your Way is arranging a Focus Group to explore the difference WCVA made in the period 2017-2022.

We are seeking organisations to take part in this focus group to offer their thoughts as to the difference WCVA has (or has not) made to your organisation and the voluntary sector in general over the last five years.

As a further incentive, taking part in this focus group will get you a £25 discount on a training course of your choice.

As a thank-you for taking part, we can offer organisations taking part in the Focus Group a £25 discount on a WCVA training course of your choice (to be claimed by end of March 2023). You can see our current training courses here. (Please note this page is regularly updated with new courses throughout the year.)

The Focus Group will investigate the extent to which WCVA’s five goals for 2017-22 were achieved. Those goals are:

  • The voluntary sector is stronger and more resilient
  • The voluntary sector and volunteering is more valued and trusted
  • The third sector and volunteering makes a bigger impact on current and future wellbeing
  • WCVA is more sustainable and responsible
  • WCVA makes better use of more diverse resources

(Don’t worry, though – you won’t need any prior knowledge of our goals!)

We are particularly interested in finding out about the quality of WCVA activity over the last five years and the extent to which WCVA facilitated progress towards achievement of our goals.

The Focus Group will be taking place online, via Zoom, on Wednesday 6 April, 2pm-4pm.

If you are interested in taking part in the focus group, please email David Cook, WCVA Policy Officer, as soon as possible on dcook@wcva.cymru.

Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. A maximum of 12 organisations will be asked to participate.
