Finance Director
Tracey is responsible for financial management and strategy at WCVA and has twenty years experience of working in both the private and third sectors. Tracey qualified with Deloitte and has worked for well-known names such as Kellogg’s, Trinity Mirror and most recently Techniquest. While her main focus has been financial control and reporting, she has also managed other operational areas always ensuring the best possible checks and controls are in place.
Tracey has not always been an accountant. Before joining Deloitte she was a secondary school teacher. She taught mathematics (obviously) and to this day believes that this has helped her succeed in all of her roles. The experience has made her patient, able to explain things in a number of ways and also given her a good sense of humour!
It’s not all work though. Tracey has a passion for live music, at a grass roots level, and also football.
