Communications Manager
Simon first joined WCVA in 2011 as a temp in the Engagement Gateway project, a European funding scheme that was a precursor to the Active Inclusion Fund.
Having graduated with a degree in Applied Linguistics from Swansea University, Simon has been employed in various roles on different WCVA teams and projects before finding his niche in the communications team.
Simon has always been fascinated by language and has spent the last five years at WCVA fully engrossed in learning and exploring all things marketing and communications, more recently taking the lead on several big projects including refreshing WCVA’s brand, brand story and website.
In his spare time Simon organises regular five-a-side football matches, mostly with people who are involved in the voluntary sector! Simon is also extremely passionate about music and can be found bashing the drums for Cardiff band Dusty Cut.
