Volunteering Quality and Resources Officer
Korina Tsioni was born and raised in North Greece. She studied maths and worked as a maths and physics teacher.
Her passion for multiculturalism and diversity led her to London where she did an MA in Applied Anthropology in Community and Youth Work. Since then Korina has worked in a variety of delivery roles in educational settings and voluntary organisations in England and Wales.
Korina joined WCVA in 2017, and she is currently working in the volunteering team. Ask her about the Investing in Volunteers award, quality volunteering and volunteering resources.
Korina is passionate about equity, equality, diversity and inclusion. She is a Trustee with Women Connect First and a member of Race Alliance Wales and Welsh Refugee Coalition. She is also a former WEN (Women’s Equality Network) Wales mentee.
