IiV Wales Manager

Korina Tsioni was born and raised in North Greece. She studied music and mathematics in Greece and worked as a maths and physics teacher.

After completing an MA in Applied Anthropology in community and youth work in London in 2015, her passion for multiculturalism and diversity led her to Wales. Since then, Korina has worked in a variety of delivery roles in educational settings and voluntary organisations in England and Wales.

Korina joined WCVA in 2017, and she is currently the Wales Manager of Investing in Volunteers (IiV), a UK wide accreditation project.

Korina is passionate about equity, equality, diversity and inclusion. She runs world music events that unify and celebrate different cultures in Wales, and she is a trustee with EYST (Ethnic Minorities & Youth Support Team Wales) and a member of Race Alliance Wales and Welsh Refugee Coalition. She is also a former WEN (Women’s Equality Network) Wales mentee.
