I’m in my happy place when I’m working with people who care deeply about making things better for communities and for the places we all depend on. By day I’m Director of WWF Cymru, leading work on climate resilience, nature recovery and community wellbeing, and working with Ministers, officials, partners and the media to turn ambition into practical progress.

By night*, I’m Chair of Community Energy Wales, supporting the growth of community-owned renewables and helping ensure strong governance, sound finances and thoughtful risk management. I’m steeped in politics too, as former Chief Executive of Plaid Cymru, guiding the organisation through four national elections, strengthening its governance and building a more resilient, values-led culture.

I’ve also headed up Friends of the Earth Cymru and the Snowdonia Society, and have non-executive experience from the social housing sector.

I like to get out into nature – mountains, forests, coasts. And my latest obsession? Ghost ponds!

*actually mostly in the daytime too.
