Assistant Director of Grants & Income
Catherine leads a directorate of more than 15 staff, overseeing a wide portfolio of funding programmes and developing new opportunities that help strengthen the resilience and sustainability of Wales’s voluntary sector.
After completing a Master’s degree at the University of Manchester, Catherine began her career in the environment sector before moving to Wales in 2010 and joining WCVA. She has since held a variety of roles across the organisation, from supporting EU employability initiatives to co-ordinating an innovative community currency project with partners across north west Europe, before heading up WCVA’s Grants team.
Outside of work, Catherine volunteers with the Cinnamon Trust and enjoys long walks with the dogs along the north Wales coast. She’s also a keen traveller and is happiest in places with sunshine and great food.
