Social enterprises in Wales can now apply for the SIS Retail Academy 2021.
The SIS Retail Academy helps mission-driven businesses and entrepreneurs recognise, formulate and understand the steps they need to take to create, grow and scale their vision and make a measurable impact in their communities.
The Academy hosts world-class industry experts delivering interactive workshops on topics such as marketing and selling, product propositions, storytelling and identifying trends.
It is open to all established social enterprises, not just those in Scotland.
If you’d like to know more, please join us on 8 March at 4pm where we’ll be hosting a short online information session with the host of the SIS Retail Academy, Rachael Brown. Please email the Social Investment Cymru team to register.
WHY SHOULD I APPLY?
The pandemic has prompted a change in the retail landscape. The SIS Retail Academy experts will share what they have learned and help you identify learnings from your own customers.
They will also explain how you can apply upcoming retail trends and e-commerce tips and tricks to help you take the next steps in your journey.
This unique series of seminars aims to help you maximise these opportunities and help create greater social-environmental impact.
LEARN FROM THE BEST
The programme offers a unique opportunity to learn how to grow and develop, insights into future trends, how to understand customers, and how to market your business and brand in an ever-changing retail landscape.
Over five days, the cohort will learn how to:
- Operate within the growing marketplace of ‘businesses-for-good’
- Meet customer demands for the green economy
- Reach customer markets in the rapidly changing world of retail
- Strengthen their digital marketing and online sales
- Tap into 2022 retail trends.
Participants will also have exclusive access to the SIS Retail Academy alumni and learn how to apply the workshops to real life.
