It is a common myth that safeguarding and DBS checks are the same thing. In reality, a DBS check is only one element of a charity’s wider safeguarding duties.

This session will explore the evolving challenges and ethical dilemmas surrounding online safety, particularly with the advent of AI, advanced gaming technology, and the rise of streaming platforms.

The risks of AI to children

This session explores the dangers AI poses to children in schools, from exposure to harmful content, grooming, and bullying, to privacy breaches, manipulation, and radicalisation.
