Social Investment Scotland are running a three-day retail bootcamp for social enterprises and voluntary organisations with products, services, or experiences to sell.
Formerly known as the ‘Retail Academy’, the 2023 Retail Bootcamp is a three-day immersive programme designed to upskill trading social enterprises, or any type of voluntary organisation that sells products or services.
Organised by Social Investment Scotland (SIS) the bootcamp is part of its ‘Retail for Change’ programme and offers a range of online masterclasses with expert speakers from leading businesses.
THE DETAILS
The Retail Bootcamp takes place over three days, 15 – 17 March 2023, with sessions taking place daily from 9 am – 2 pm.
Although the programme is targeted at Scottish organisations, groups in Wales can join for a small fee of £100+VAT (and Welsh organisations that have attended previous academies have told us it was definitely worth the price of admission).
You can find out more about the SIS ‘Retail for Change: Retail Bootcamp 2023’, and apply, here.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE 2023 BOOTCAMP
- Range of masterclasses – The theme for the bootcamp is ‘brand alignment’ and attendees will have the opportunity to hear the latest trends and insights
- Expert speakers – A chance to hear from ‘brilliant’ expert speakers and social entrepreneurs, sharing their experience and knowledge
- eBay for Change – Delegates will be invited to apply to join the eBay for Change programme which helps social enterprises to set up and scale up their product, service, or experience on eBay
- Meet potential buyers – The programme will introduce you to key commercial buyers and offer the opportunity to get valuable experience pitching your product or service
Q&A FOR WELSH ORGANISATIONS
