Purchase Power Programme open to Welsh organisations

Published : 26/10/23 | Categories: News | Training & events |

An opportunity for Welsh social enterprises, or voluntary organisations with products, services or experiences to sell, to learn from experts, develop skills and connect with corporates.

The new #BuySocial Purchase Power programme from Social Enterprise Scotland and Social Investment Scotland will support trading social enterprises or voluntary organisations to connect with corporates and public bodies seeking to develop their social and environmental impact.

Although the programme is targeted at Scottish organisations, groups in Wales can join for a small fee of £100+VAT (and Welsh organisations that have attended similar programmes have told us it was definitely worth the price of admission).

WHAT YOU’LL GET FROM THE PROGRAMME

Purchase Power is a chance to learn from experts, master the art of pitching and connect with corporates that are looking to buy from social enterprises and other voluntary organisations.

Delivered over monthly sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Hear from a range of expert speakers
  • Develop the skills to win contracts
  • Refine your products, services and experiences

The programme builds towards an intensive three-day matchmaking style bootcamp which provides an opportunity to meet and connect with major corporate buyers who are actively looking to work with impact-led organisations.

You can read more about what’s included in the programme here.

HOW TO APPLY

Organisations from Wales that are interested in applying should contact our Social Investment Cymru team (sic@wcva.cymru) in the first instance.

Applications are closing soon, with the programme due to start on 15 November 2023.
