We’re excited to announce that nominations are now open for the Wales Ethnically Diverse Sports Awards (WEDSA) 2025.
The awards recognise and celebrate the incredible contributions of ethnically diverse individuals and communities in sport and physical activity across Wales.
WHAT IS WEDSA?
WEDSA shines a spotlight on athletes, coaches, volunteers, community groups, and organisations making a positive impact through sport. Whether it’s breaking down barriers, driving inclusion, or inspiring others, these changemakers deserve to be seen, heard, and applauded.
NOMINATE SOMEONE INCREDIBLE
Do you know a person or group who is breaking boundaries, making a difference, or inspiring others through sport? We want to hear their story and so you can nominate them here. The deadline for nominations is 31 July 2025.

- Sportsman of the Year
- Club of the Year
- Community Sport Project of the Year
- Young Person of the Year
- Inclusive Sport Award
- Coach of the Year
- Rising Star of the Year
