New opportunities for voluntary organisations as Procurex Wales announces date for Cardiff and GO Awards open for submissions.

On Wednesday 18 March, the day before our Gofod3 event, Procurex Wales takes place at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff.

Procurex Wales is the country’s largest procurement event designed to help both buyers and suppliers meet the efficiency challenges of today and the future and provide opportunities, skills and knowledge for those engaged in procurement.

WCVA is an official partner at the event and our very own Risk, Procurement and Governance Manager Emma Waldron will be speaking.

Go Awards Wales

Emma is a judge for the Government Opportunities (GO) Awards Wales, celebrating Excellence in Public Procurement which is a great opportunity for your organisation to celebrate and showcase its achievements in procurement.  The deadline for submissions is 31 January 2020 and you can register your entry using this link.

‘I am delighted to be part of both Procurex and Go Awards Wales as a speaker and a judge,’ says Emma.

‘With political hurdles ahead, it is important now more than ever to ensure we work collaboratively and provide opportunities for future generations, and Procurex helps to bring this together.

‘I am very much looking forward to reading through the applications for awards to see how a range of organisations have demonstrated excellence in procurement. Both events provide a unique opportunity for Wales to showcase its skills, talents and passion.’

Procurex is free for the public and voluntary sector to attend, and a fantastic opportunity to network and engage with over 1,100 colleagues from a range of sectors.
