Welcome to our information pages for voluntary organisations in Wales

In this section

The voluntary sector in Wales is made up of a diverse range of charitable and not-for-profit organisations. These organisations are far more likely to be resilient, to achieve their aims and make a positive impact on society if they are well-managed and have good governance arrangements in place.

This section provides you with information, guidance, tools and resources to support you with running your organisation effectively. It covers topics, from governance and leadership for trustees and senior staff, to the day-to-day management of your organisation, as well as more specific guidance on important areas, such as safeguarding, data protection and demonstrating impact.

How WCVA can help you run your organisation:

  • Free information, guidance and resources
  • A wide range of training and learning opportunities
  • Inspirational events where you can hear from speakers and showcase your own work
  • Peer networks enabling you to meet, learn from and network with others
