gofod3 2023 update

Published : 23/02/23 | Categories: News | Training & events |

gofod3, Wales’ space for the voluntary sector, is back for 2023, but in a new and different format.

We have made the decision to pause gofod3 in its usual format for 2023, to give us time to reflect on how its delivered and consider how we might refresh it for 2024 to ensure it continues to meet the needs of the sector.

However, we know how much you value the content of gofod3 and so during 2023 we plan to host a series of events (online and in-person) with networking opportunities in its place. gofod3 is designed especially for people involved in Welsh voluntary organisations and provides a unique space for everyone working within or in collaboration with the voluntary sector to come together. We are committed to delivering against this in 2023 albeit in this different format.

We would love to hear your suggestions on what topics your organisation is most interested in, and any potential speakers you would like to hear from. Whether it’s climate change, equality, diversity and inclusion, bilingualism, coping with a crisis or anything else that you are finding challenging- we want to hear what’s most important to you this year.

We also welcome any ideas you might have for how gofod3 is delivered in the future.

Please send you thoughts to kgobir@wcva.cymru by 14 March.

We will be back in touch with our members and the wider sector after this date with information on when the first gofod3 session will take place.

ABOUT gofod3

gofod3 is an event organised by WCVA, in collaboration with the voluntary sector. It is the biggest voluntary sector event of its kind in Wales. gofod3 was first established in spring 2017 as an annual, one-day event in Cardiff.

In the meantime, you can keep up with what training and events we’re putting on for the sector here.
