Newid is running free digital skills training for voluntary organisations that provide advice, support and guidance to voluntary groups and charities.

**These training sessions will be delivered in Welsh. If you would like to attend the course in English please contact bookings@wcva.cymru to be added to the waiting list.**

As part of Newid: Digital for the third sector, we are excited to announce an upcoming programme of free digital skills training for voluntary sector membership, infrastructure and umbrella organisations.

Participants will gain skills, tools and knowledge that will enable them to better support the organisations they work with on a wide-range of digital topics. The training will include a train the trainer element to ensure that skills and knowledge can be shared within organisations and across the voluntary sector.

This training is aimed at staff who work for voluntary organisations that provide advice, support and guidance to other voluntary groups and charities. This includes organisations that have a network of branches.

Qualifying organisations:

  • Provide advice, guidance or training to charities and other voluntary groups, or to branches within the same organisation.
  • Work primarily with charities or voluntary groups.
  • Want to improve the level of digital advice and support they provide to the charities they work with.
  • Consider themselves an infrastructure, membership, network or umbrella organisation.

The training will be delivered by Big Learning Company, who have 15 years of experience developing and delivering digital learning programmes across all sectors in Wales. The training will include:

  • A series of workshops delivered online by digital training specialists.
  • Accompanying online learning materials and additional course content.
  • Resources to support continued learning such as helpful ‘how to’ guides.
  • A train the trainer session.
  • Continued support and opportunities to share experiences through a pan-Wales digital network on The Knowledge Hub.
