Two virtual events taking place in October that may be of interest to trustees and charity representatives in Wales. Both events are free to attend.
These events present excellent opportunities for trustees and relevant charity staff to update their knowledge about charity governance and hear from expert speakers as we move into the next phase of the coronavirus response.

Charity Commission Annual Public Meeting – 1 October
The Charity Commission will be holding its Annual Public Meeting online on Thursday 1st October 2020 at 11am.
Due to the impact of Covid-19 the meeting will be a virtual event which is open to all members of the public and charity representatives.
If you would like to be sent the YouTube link to watch the broadcast of the event, you can sign up and the link will be emailed to you a couple of days prior to the event.

All Wales Charity Governance, Law and Finance Virtual Conference – 15 October
This virtual conference will consider the theme of ‘Charities in a post-COVID world’.
The event is hosted in partnership with Baldwins and Brewin Dolphin and will be joined by guest speaker Helen Stephenson CBE, CEO of the Charity Commission.
The conference will provide attendees with up to date, practical advice and guidance for the charity sector post Covid-19.
