Consultation on the Code of Fundraising Practice

Published : 05/09/24 | Categories: News | Training & events |

Join WCVA and the Fundraising Regulator for a consultation event on the new draft of the Code of Fundraising Practice.

At the beginning of September the Fundraising Regulator launched a consultation on the new draft of the Code of Fundraising Practice. This follows a consultation held last Autumn where we sought views on our proposals for updating the code. The aim is to make the code simpler, more accessible and ensure changes in legislation, technology and fundraising behaviours are covered.

The Fundraising Regulator will be consulting on the draft code throughout September and October of this year. To encourage engagement with the consultation process, WCVA and the Fundraising Regulator are holding an online Q&A session with stakeholders in Wales to discuss the new draft code and answer any questions you might have.

ABOUT THE EVENT

The consultation event for stakeholders in Wales will be held on Wednesday 2 October 2024, 11 am – 12 pm.

We would be delighted if you could join us at the event. This will be an important opportunity for you to highlight any final thoughts you have on the draft code, and for us to respond to any questions or concerns you might have.

The team that leads the code review process will be in attendance to listen to your feedback and answer your questions. The event will be chaired by WCVA and a link to the consultation will be shared with delegates ahead of the session.

Further details and event registration are available on Eventbrite.

If you have any questions regarding the event, please contact consultations@fundraisingregulator.org.uk.
